UDiF – the Amazing Theatre of Physics and Chemistry – is a team of science enthusiasts who have turned physics and chemistry into entertaining live shows. For more than 15 years, we have been sharing the joy of discovery and inspiring people to look at the world around them with curiosity and excitement. Since 2008, we have performed thousands of science shows for schools, festivals, companies, and the general public, combining spectacular experiments with clear and engaging explanations.

For schools

We do shows for schoolchildren ranging from kindergarten to high school. Apart from science shows, we also provide workshops for students, project days, and seminars for teachers.

For events

Whether it’s a large science show on stage or a collection of hands-on experiments, we can provide entertainment for guests at any event. Be it a family day, a marketing meeting, or a medical conference.

For festivals

Our experiments feel at home at festivals. Science festivals are our natural habitat, but we can tempt audiences with science even at music, film, or theatre festivals.

What do we do

We do not want to show just empty effects. Every one of our performances has a central theme, a storyline, and an underlying idea that we want to communicate. For us, it is important to ensure that spectators can grasp the essence of the surprising phenomena they have just witnessed. The audience is often an active part of our performance and takes part in the process of discovering “how we do our magic”.

Audiences

We provide shows for people of all ages, from young children and students to adults, parents, and senior citizens.

You can enjoy our science shows whether you are just beginning to explore science or already hold a PhD. We make our experiments easy to understand, yet fascinating to watch and try.

Formats

Our shows usually last between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the type of event. However, they can be extended to as much as 90 minutes or shortened to just 15, 10, or even 5 minutes if needed.

We can spend the entire event with a table full of experiments. It can be us demonstrating them, or it can be a more hands-on experience. We can also provide interactive exhibits that your guests can explore at their own pace.

Last but not least, we also offer workshops where participants can build their own scientific gadget and take it home with them.
